ER STAFF RN/CHARGE NURSE  Served as Team Leader of Consulting Nurse staff for all shifts. Responsibilities included Urgent Care nursing, development of telephone triage program, utilizing PHAMIS LASTWORD software.  Wrote standardized policies and procedures for the entire organization.  Developed creative incentive programs to encourage utilization.  Trained and updated medical staff in CPR and ACLS.  Corporate winner of Idea of the Month as well as Honorable Mention for Idea of the Year, for upgrading electronic medical records which eliminated unnecessary and costly procedures, resulting in substantial annual savings.
